Abanindranath Tagore

Abanindranath Tagore (1871–1951) was a pioneering Indian artist and writer, widely regarded as the father of modern Indian art. He founded the Bengal School of Art, which sought to revive traditional Indian artistic styles and challenge the dominance of Western techniques.
